You know what's pretty? If you accidently leave an old mayonnaise jar half filled with water in the freezer and then take a picture of it a few days later when you find it in there. That's whats pretty.

This is my song for this week. I dig this fella's voice very much! Also, the band is pretty great. My friend Todd put it on a cd for me so that was nice.

road trips

I really love road trips! Who doesn't though? I have been really antsy to go on one the last few days, and perhaps its because I feel like spring is about to burst out any second. I particularly like them when I get to ride in the back seat. First of all, I hate driving, and to be totally honest, I suck at driving. You really don’t want me out there. Secondly, there is less pressure to be the conversation maker. I’m not too shabby at making conversation, but I don’t always like doing so in a car. The best part is that if there is a good conversation going on, you can chime in whenever you want and if you don't want to, just space off. Also, making random announcements (which I like to do) seems more acceptable if you are in the backseat, like “I want a fountain mountain dew right NOW!” When I was little I used to throw a fit if I didn't get the very back seat in my parents minivan. I would be really hyper for the first 20-30 minutes of the trip and then take a 5-hour nap, leaving my parents specific instructions to wake me if we went over ANY bridges. I really liked going across them. Anyway, let's go on a road trip-me, you, and anyone else we can fit!
