time to look at pretty stuff

So I just recently spent some time in Colorado and I wanted to show you a little of it. I am sure I will post some more down the road. I shot a lot of film but have not developed any of it yet. There are so many beautiful things to see out in Colorado. It makes me feel a little bit like I have ADD because I just don't know where to look because I want to look everywhere! If you haven't had the chance to go I highly recomend it! Feel free to take me with you too!

I've spent the night doing a lot of editing and such and am a little beat, but will post some more stuff soon.

Cheers!

Portrait # 4 - Jennifer Seidenberg Bock

This is my friend Jennifer who recently married my friend Garret. It was a fantastic wedding at a beautiful location. I shot their wedding so I have a whole collection of images of both of them looking their best and am currently editing my way through them. I chose this one of her for my personal portrait project though because I love it! My goal with my portrait project is to capture my friends the way I see them. This is beautiful, adorable, a little funny, and interesting-just like she is. She is one of the few swell ladies I know that can get herself all gussied up and look beautiful, but because she is a nature gal at heart has no problem climbing up a steep grassy hill in heels and white dress to get a great photo. It was a lot of fun to be a part of her day and I'm hopefully going to see her again this winter and she'll get to see just how clumsy I am when I try to ski.

Sweet Home Chicago

It's so nice to see you again Chicago! Sometimes the best way to appriicate some of the things you have and more importantly, the friends you have, is to be exsposed to a completely absurd situation. I was in such a situation and it was awful. Well awful is an understatement. It's a long story and I woulnd't even know how to begin it even if I did want to write it all out. It's nice to have your eyes opened though and make you realize some of the qualities you take for granted in your friends. I have really smart, emotionaly stable, funny and even hilarious at times, rational, kind-hearted friends. I want to give a shout out to Chicago as well as all of my friends! (I think that might be my first shout out ever) I heart you-YES you!
